Students are expected to complete homework in ELA and Math every night, Monday through Thursday.

Look at the weekly newsletter to find the spelling words, weekly skills and nightly math lessons.
In the homework binder, you will find homework sheet, conduct/snack calendar, loose leaf paper, fluency and practice sheets for the week.

Spelling- Please practice spelling words by writing them 2 times each.
Sight Words- Please practice reading the sight words daily and write a sentence with each word.
Math - A skills practice sheet will be sent home daily.
Reading and Fluency - Please have your child read at least 20 minutes nightly. Complete the reading passage on the front side and activity on the back every night. Day 1 (Monday night), Day 2 (Tuesday night), Day 3 (Wednesday night) and Day 4 (Thursday night).
Fluency - It is important that you assist your child with the reading fluency passage each night and sign the page indicating that you have done so. Comprehension questions should be completed by Thursday and returned on Friday.
Writing - Practice handwriting skills.
